The written tests are done on paper, only black or blue pens (ballpoint or ink) are allowed to compose (no pencil).

During the test, it is forbidden for candidates to communicate with each other or with the outside world and to exchange material (pens, rulers, etc.). Any attempt at fraud will be penalised.

Administrative requirements

The candidate must present an official identity document valid on the day of the examination (photocopies will not be accepted).

The timetable on the invitation must be respected. No lateness will be tolerated.

Convocation

The individual oral test of the DELF-DALF Tout Public will take place in the same week as the group (written) test. The dates indicated on the Alliance Française Bruxelles-Europe website and on the registration form correspond to the written exam.

You will receive your official invitation by e-mail at least two weeks before the start date of the collective tests.

If you wish to take your individual test at a specific time or date, please send an email to examens@alliancefr.be before the registration deadline. We will consider your request as far as we are able. After the registration period, no more special requests will be accepted.

Results and diploma

A certificate of achievement may be issued to you by email.

Your diploma will be available 3 months after your exam at the reception of the Alliance Française Brussels-Europe. It can be sent to you on request (postal charges at your expense).

Adaptation of the exams for candidates with special needs

The Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe (AFBE) provides any candidate who reports a disability affecting a physical, sensory, mental, cognitive or psychic function, with the material facilities or personnel assistance necessary for the proper conduct of the French tests. This allows the candidate to take part in the examinations under working conditions that are likely to restore equality between candidates. He or she may also be exempted from one of the skills if an accommodation is not possible.

For this purpose:

  • The candidate must indicate his or her disability at the time of registration to examens@alliancefr.be and as soon as possible so that the examination centre, the AFBE, can put in place the appropriate arrangements.
  • They must provide an official document from a medical authority indicating the diagnosis and specifying the recommended accommodations for a foreign language exam.
  • This certificate must not be older than 2 years from the date of the tests.
