At the Alliance Française, learning French goes hand in hand with discovering the culture of the French-speaking world. You have exclusive access to cultural resources and you can take part in cultural events as you continue learning French.

Free subscription to Culturethèque

Culturethèque (“CultureLibrary”) is a digital library offered when you enrol a course with us! It can be accessed via a computer or a mobile telephone anywhere in Belgium. Using this portal, you can consult e-books, audio books in simple French, press titles, comic books… and much more!

Friday 15th November 2019 - 6pm Meeting point: in front of the Alliance Française
Brussels on the footsteps of Jacques Brel! Discover his birth city and find out more on the life of the great Belgian singer.

Friday 22nd November 2019 - 12.30pm - Meeting point: Alliance Française reception desk
Brussels pays tribute to characters and authors of the Franco-Belgian comics on the city walls. From Tintin to Spirou, or Lucky Luke, Yoko Tsuno, Natacha, Astérix… Get to see not less than sixty characters while walking out of touristic paths and discover the authentic Brussels.
