At the Alliance Française, learning French goes hand in hand with discovering the culture of the French-speaking world. You have exclusive access to cultural resources and you can take part in cultural events as you continue learning French.

Free subscription to Culturethèque

Culturethèque (“CultureLibrary”) is a digital library offered when you enrol a course with us! It can be accessed via a computer or a mobile telephone anywhere in Belgium. Using this portal, you can consult e-books, audio books in simple French, press titles, comic books… and much more!

Go off to explore Etterbeek and its wonders: place Jourdan, la Chasse, Félix Hap park, Cauchie house, cités Jouët-Rey, place Saint-Pierre… and walk through unknown places!

Friday 23 November 2018 - 12.30pm - Classroom 7 at the Alliance Française
During the First World War, two French soldiers are captured and imprisoned in a German P.O.W. camp. Several escape attempts follow until they are sent to a seemingly impenetrable fortress which seems impossible to escape from.
