To enrol, please gather the required documents then contact us by email (professorat(at)alliancefr.be) or go to the reception of the Alliance Française Bruxelles-Europe. 

Please note your enrolment will only be definitive after payment of enrolment fees for the entrance examination.


  • French is your mother tongue
  • You hold a diploma at CESS+3 or BAC+3 level (CESS: Certificat de l’Enseignement Secondaire Supérieur – Certificate of Secondary Education// BAC: Baccalaureate).

N.B.: If you do not meet these criteria, you can still sit the written examination. Your application will then be deliberated by the members of a team deciding on entry to the course.

Documents required for enrolment

Entrance examination

Written eligibility test: duration 3 hours
The written examination is made up of four exercises:

  • draw up a summary or comparative summary
  • draw up an argumentative text
  • correct a text
  • respond to a linguistic and general culture test

Example of entrance examination subjects: annals 2015 and annexes 2015

Oral admission test: duration 20 minutes
The oral consists of a motivation interview.


  • Session 1:
    • Enrolment before 9 May 2018
    • Written examination: Saturday 26 May 2018 from 10am to 1pm
    • Results on 1 June 2018
    • Oral examination: between 12 and 22 June 2018 (your notification will be sent by email before 6 June 2018)
  • Session 2:
    • Enrolment before 29 August 2018
    • Written examination: Friday 14 September 2018 from 1pm to 4pm
    • Results on 21 September 2018
    • Oral examination: between 1 and 5 October 2018 (your notification will be sent by email before 26 September 2018)
  • Classes will start on 15 October 2018


Enrolments fees for entrance examination: €50
Training costs: €350/month
