Photography, cinema, music, theatre and literature… the Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe organises events promoting the French language throughout the year and develops partnerships with Brussels cultural institutions. Our events are free of charge and open to all.

We are also founder members of EUNIC Brussels (European Union National Institutes for Culture), network of European cultural institutes, within which we carry out cultural activities encouraging linguistic diversity.

Opened in 2012, the Alliance française gallery fits into the framework of our mission for promoting French and francophone culture. Francophone artists are exhibited there. Entry is free of charge.

Improphonies 2021 | A live event on 25th March, 8pm - Live on Facebook
If you're not able to attend a show in a theatre, the theatre comes to you!
Discover Improphonies, an improvisational theatre show, made by 5 comedians. A free event, open to everyone, live on Facebook.

1Day4ideas is a space-time of meetings focused on the production and experimentation of ideas. During a single day, about fifteen guests will propose different sensitive and sensible spaces-time, at the crossing of theoretical, artistic and militant approaches...

October 4th at 6pm at the Théâtre 140
An art that is said, spread out, blossomed. During this evening, the scene of the 140 will be open to slammers in the tradition of the slam scene.
On stage, guests such as the Midis de la Poésie, Lézarts Urbains, Francofaune and Le 140 want to make you (re)discover.
