Focus film français
From 2016-2017, teachers of French in Flanders will be able to see French films with their pupils at the cinema, and then work on projects based on the film during French lessons with the programme “Focus Film Français” (“French Film Focus”).
“Focus Film Français” will be introduced into the “Lessen in het donker” programme at the start of the 2016-2017 school year. It will be available in over 80 cinemas in Flanders. Teachers will have access to specific teaching material to use with their students in the classroom. For each film, a teaching file will be available for French classes, as well as a learning pack in Flemish and an introductory film.
The films that have been selected this year are:
- Belle et Sébastien: L’aventure continue, directed by Christian Duguay
- Chocolat by Roschdy Zem
- Le Nouveau by Rudi Rosenberg
- La Tête Haute by Emmanuelle Bercot
- Tous Les Chats Sont Gris by Savina Dellicour
- Une Famille à Louer by Jean-Pierre Améris
Reservations can be made directly at the participating cinemas. Interested teachers can contact “Lessen in het donker” for more information.
“Focus Film Français” is supported by the Cooperation and Cultural Action Department of the French Embassy in Belgium and by the Brussels-Europe Alliance Française.
