Step 1 - Test the level of your French

Enrolling at the Alliance Française Bruxelles-Europe for the first time? Unless you have no knowledge of the French language (which means you are at breakthrough level A1), you must take our language proficiency test before you enrol.

Step 2 - Enrol

Once you know your level, you can complete the registration process online, at the Alliance Française Bruxelles-Europe reception or by email.

Enrolment fee

Please note that enrolment for a course or workshop involves the payment of an annual flat fee to cover administration fees (€45). You pay it when you register for the first time. This fee is then valid for a period of 12 months.

Option 1 | Online

Go to our website and select a course which corresponds to your level of proficiency in French. Add the course textbook to your order.

  • Please note: If your payment does not reach us within 5 working days of your enrolment, this could result in cancellation.
  • Online enrolment for one session opens one month before the start of term and ends 7 working days before the course commences.

Option 2 | At reception

If you wish to enrol at the Alliance Française Bruxelles-Europe reception, please ensure you have the following documents with you: your completed enrolment form, a copy of your identity card or your passport and photo ID.

Methods of payment accepted: Bancontact, VISA, MasterCard and cash.

You can enrol by email by contacting us at info(at)alliancefr.be. Please state in your email your level of proficiency in French and attach this completed enrolment form along with a copy of your identity card or passport.

General conditions of sale

By enrolling, you indicate your acceptance of our general conditions of sale. Please read them carefully. They include our cancellation and refund policy and enrolment conditions.

Please note: the Alliance Française Bruxelles-Europe reserves the right to cancel a course due to insufficient student numbers.

Conditions for enrolment

You must be aged 18 or over to enrol for our standard courses. However, teenagers aged 16 or over on the start date of the course can be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who will be required to co-sign a consent form with the student.
