French artistic creation in Belgium in the spotlight
The cultural department of the Embassy of France starts from February 19 the EXTRA program. Designed in partnership with 12 Belgian cultural structures, EXTRA exhibits the vitality of French contemporary art in Brussels, Leuven and Strombeek.
EXTRA begins in February with the exhibition of Daniel Buren at Bozar and Agnès Varda at the Museum of Ixelles, and will end in May with the ambitious project of Philippe Quesne at Kunstenfestivaldesarts, Welcome to Caveland! (world premiere).
A dozen other artists, choreographers, directors, philosophers, performers complete the programme and, through a transversal approach to the art and practice constantly renewed, tell us something new about our contemporary world.
