Learn French in Brussels

 

Alliance française de Bruxelles-Europe offers various plans to meet different needs in terms of:  

  • levels
  • hours
  • intensity
  • type of instruction (private or group/remote or presence-based)
  • specific professional sectors or areas of study.

Courses at Alliance française de Bruxelles-Europe :

 

  • may result in international certification granted by the French Ministry of Education as part of examinations held at our premises on Rue de la Loi.

Interested in our group courses?
Our so-called "standard" group courses are comprised of students who have purchased a personal course plan and taken a placement test whcih ensures that our groups, limited to 15 persons, are homogeneous. These courses form part of a progressive programme of French language study.

Two possibilities :
  You have never studied French before :  
You have had some exposure to the French language:
 
  You are a "complete beginner" and may enrol immediately.

Are you a "false beginner"?
    You have taken a French language course, or you speak another Romance language: you will have to take a placement test and contact us for that purpose.

Our workshops and conversation classes are designed to supplement progressive language learning by examining specific aspects of the French language: grammar, phonetics, oral expression, civilisation, preparation for the examinations and tests, etc.

Are you a training coordinator at a company or government agency?

Our "à la carte" (options menu) classes for companies, government agencies and private individuals are intended to meet any special requirement, on an individual or group basis, and are not part of our standard course offering.
Content and pace are determined beforehand by meeting with an instructional advisor. These meetings may take place at the client's office or at the Alliance française de Bruxelles-Europe.
Two possibilities :
  You would like to have your employees take a group class by joining the standard courses given on our premises.   You would like your employees to receive instruction tailored to their needs, either on our premises or yours.
